Attribution history (a) Anonymous - 12th to 13th c. by G. Natali, 1911. They date from the second half of the 12th to the second half of the 13th c. and appear to be by various artists, perhaps local, working on Byzantine models; (b) Attributed to Anonymous - 13th c. by Sansoni, 1939; (c) Attributed to Italian School, Lombard by Frick Art Reference Library, 1943.
