Byzantine in manner and style, a painter of similar temperament was a certain Meliore Toscana; (k) Italian School, Pisan - 13th c., 1949; (e) School of Giunta Pisano by Garrison, 1914; (g) Italian School, Pisan - 2nd half 13th c. by Sirén, 1925. Pisan-Lucchese school; (i) Italian School, Pisan - 4th quarter 13th c. by F. Mason Perkins, 1927, dated to circa 1270 to 1275. Very common type that later survived in Deodato Orlandi; (d) Circle of Enrico di Tedice by Crowe and Cavalcaselle, 1922; (c) Anonymous - 1st quarter 14th c. by , 1903. Formerly attributed to Giunta, but displays the defects of this century, combined with that lighter style of colouring noticed in the work of Deodati Orlandi.
