Provenance (a) Chiesa di S. Zeno Maggiore, Verona, Italy, right wall.
Current repository Chiesa di S. Zeno Maggiore, Verona, Italy, public.
Attribution history (a) Second Master of S. Zeno by Sandberg-VavalĂ , 1926. Another which is almost a replica, but without saints and donors, is in the lower church, near the door to the cloister. Even if the crude profiles recall those of the worshippers accompanying the Madonna of Mercy by the First Master, it has the characteristic of the second Master. A mediocre work.
Subject (a) Three devotes represented on a small scale before the throne. The Madonna between St. Peter and St. Catherine. The saints at the top are the Magdalen and St. Andrew.
