Color notes (a) Red and blue predominate. The faces of the Virgin and Child are given blue high.lights and their garments are striped with gold.

Title history (j,k,L) Alternatively titled Tabernacolo a Sportelli; (j,k,L) alternatively titled Marzolini Triptych.
Subject (d) Each wing is surmounted by a figure of the Annunciation, below which are eight scenes on either side; on the left we find the Visitation and Nativity, the Adoration of the Magi.
