Condition history (f) Detached in 1921-1927 by an unknown restorer the fresco was transferred to canvas until 1954, which resulted in disintegration of the pictorial surface; (e) Recently detached.
Attribution history (c) Italian School, Perugian - 1st quarter 14th c. by Richard Offner, 1924. Influence of Meo da Siena; (d) Circle of Meo da Siena by van Marle, 1925. But not by his own hand. Of the Marriage and Death of the Virgin and also the third fresco, the Crucified, Virgin and Saints; (a) Meo da Siena by van Marle, 1909. Or one of his follower. Judging from the photograph "Anfange und Entwicklungsgange der altumbrischen Malerei", 1908. Attribution confirmed by F.M. Perkins; (e) School of Meo da Siena by van Marle, 1937.
