Attribution history (a) Italian School, Byzantine - 13th c. The figure of Christ, with severe and noble expression, and rich draperies reveals a clearly Byzantine type.
Subject (a) The Madonna and Child are shown enthroned, seated between two little angels swinging censers, and a little farther down, on the right, a bishop saint, and third angel on left.
